About Us
The Cake Gallery was founded in 1984 in Bournville Lane, Birmingham - a small shop with three floors. However, it became clear after a few years that we needed larger and more practical premises so we moved to
11 Melchett Road , Kings Norton Business Centre in October 1995.
Our aim has always been to supply high quality celebration cakes at a fair and reasonable price. We were one of a few companies in the country producing novelty cakes and we are proud and flattered that many companies have copied our production methods and designs.
We still bake and produce all our cakes in the public eye, live in front of customers at a counter in Melchett Road.

Vanilla Sponge, Chocolate Sponge, Lemon Sponge, Strawberry Sponge or Rich Fruit Cake, plain or fancy, ordinary or extraordinary; innovative and creative, our cakes are available in any shape or colour, for any celebration: Birthday, Wedding, Christening, Christmas, Retirement and anything else you can think of!
Our cakes are tasteful in all senses of the word and almost anything is possible within the bounds of physics. Attention to detail combined with speed and accuracy makes us the best in our field.
The Cake Gallery team has well over 100 years of cake decorating experience between them, which is remarkably high considering the youth of the team.
We have our own shop located in our production unit where you can watch celebration cakes being made right in front of your eyes, whilst you order or collect your own personalized cake.
